Denim Rag Quilt Embroidered Horse Block Swap
Ongoing - Dates: 05/01/2006 – 04/30/2007
Pattern: Horse design, minimum 4x4 design size.
NOTE: Proper stabilizing is required. Poorly embroidered blocks
will be returned.
Size: 6" finished (6.5" unfinished) Please measure
carefully!
Quantity: You may make as many blocks as you would like. You can
only make 5 identical blocks to be swapped. Please change designs
to swap more.
Colors: Any Color Denim (please specify if you only
want blue)
Fabrics: Please pre-wash your fabric before embroidering.
Mailing:
Label each block with your name, email address and source of the
embroidery pattern if you have it. (If your pattern came from a
website, list the site's web address and the name of the designer
(If you designed the pattern yourself, let us know! We'd love to
ooh and aah over your creativity!) You can use a label (attached to
wrong side of the fabric only!) or you can baste your label to the
edge of each block. Do not use straight pins.
Place your blocks in a large ziplock-type bag and label the bag with
your name, mailing address, and email address. Be sure to include
your mailing address! This makes it much easier when I'm swapping
the blocks!
Enclose a self addressed stamped envelope. Postage on the return
envelope should equal the amount of postage on the envelope that you
are sending. Place your name and address in the return address
area. International swappers are welcome to join in! Just send horse
fabric in lieu of postage along with your self-addressed envelope.
